Preliminary Results on New Shipper Review

Commerce has issued preliminary determinations in its new shipper review of the antidumping duty margins on certain preserved mushrooms from China covering the period February 1, 2008 through January 31, 2009:

Manufacturer/Exporter -- Preliminary Margin
Linyi City Kangfa Foodstuff Drinkable Co., Ltd. (Kangfa) -- 0.0

Commerce preliminarily determined that the sale of subject merchandise made by Linyi City Kangfa Foodstuff Drinkable Co., Ltd. (Kangfa) and its affiliated supplier Linyi City Kangfa Foodstuff Drinkable Co., Ltd., Pingyi Branch (Pingyi Branch), which are collectively known as Kangfa), was not made below normal value.

The preliminary determinations in administrative reviews have no effect on duty deposits. Any change in duty deposits must wait until final determinations, due in January.

Initiation of 5-Year Reviews on Mushrooms from Chile, China, India and Indonesia

The International Trade Commission gave notice that it has instituted reviews to determine whether revocation of the antidumping duty orders on preserved mushrooms from Chile, China, India and Indonesia would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. Responses are due by November 2. Commerce is publishing concurrently its notice of initiation of a sunset review covering the same order.
