Commerce has issued preliminary results in its administrative review of the countervailing duty order on pasta from Italy covering the period January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004. Commerce preliminarily determined the countervailing duty rates for all of the producers/exporters under review are either zero or de minimis as listed below. If the final results remain the same, Commerce will instruct Customs to liquidate entries during the period of review without regard to countervailing duties.
Company -- Rate
Pasta Lensi S.r.l. -- 0.0
Corticella Molini e Pastifici S.p.a./Pasta Combattenti S.p.a. -- 0.12 (de minimus)
Atar S.r.l. -- 0.20 (de minimus)
Commerce rescinded this review for Pallante, Laporta and Tomasello because the requests for review were withdrawn.
Commerce intends to revoke the antidumping duty order for Pasta Lensi because the preliminary results show that Pasta Lensi did not receive countervailable subsidies during the POR and had zero net subsidy rates in its four previous administrative reviews.
Final determinations are due in August.
