Pasta from Italy - Preliminary Results and Partial Rescission of Countervailing Duty Reviews
For the period Jan. 1, 2003 through Dec. 31, 2003.

Friday, April 8, 2005

Commerce has issued preliminary results in its administrative review of the countervailing duty orders on pasta from Italy during the period Jan. 1, 2003 through Dec. 31, 2003. Commerce preliminarily determined that the countervailing duty rates during the period of review for all of the producers/exporters under review were less than 0.5 percent (de minimis). If the final results remain the same, Commerce will instruct Customs to liquidate entries during the period of review without regard to countervailing duties.

Company -- Rate (%)

Pasta Lensi S.r.1. -- 0.00 (de minimis)

Pastificio Corticella S.p.A./Pastificio Combattenti S.p.A. -- 0.06 (de minimis)

Commerce rescinded the review of Pastificio Carmine Russo S.p.A./Pastificio Di Nola S.p.A. and Pastificio Antonio Pallante S.r.1 because the parties withdrew their requests for an administrative review.

Final results are due in October.
