Commerce issued the preliminary results of the administrative review of the countervailing duty order on in-shell raw pistachios from Iran, covering the period January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2004.
Because Nima and the Government of Iran failed to cooperate, Commerce applied the use of “adverse facts available.” Commerce calculated the individual subsidy rate for Nima, the only exporter subject to this review, at 71.10 percent ad valorem.
The preliminary results have no impact on duty deposits. Any change comes with release of the final results, which are due in approximately four months.
