USTR issued a notice announcing the product petitions that have been accepted for further review in the 2005 Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) Annual Review.

One of the accepted product petitions was a petition seeking to waive the competitive need limits (CNLs) with respect to certain guavas and mangoes from the Philippines (HTS 0804.50.80).

The GSP Subcommittee will hold an open hearing on the product petitions on September 30 in Washington, D.C.

Modifications to the list of articles eligible for duty-free treatment under the GSP resulting from the 2005 Annual Review will be announced by June 30, 2006.
