Frozen Shrimp and Frozen Fish Fillets from Vietnam - New Shipper Reviews Initiated
Covering the period August 1, 2007 through January 31, 2008 (fish fillets) and the period August 1, 2007 through January 31, 2008 (shrimp).


Frozen Fish Fillets from Vietnam
The Department of Commerce initiated a new shipper review covering the period August 1, 2007 through January 31, 2008 for frozen fish fillets from Vietnam produced and exported by Asia Commerce Fisheries Joint Stock Company (Acom) and Hiep Thanh Seafood Joint Stock Company (Hiep Thanh). (Binh An). Importers of fish fillets from Vietnam manufactured and/or exported by Acom and Hiep Thanh must continue to post cash deposits of estimated antidumping duties on each entry of subject merchandise at the current Vietnam-wide rate of 63.88 percent.
Frozen Shrimp from Vietnam
Commerce also initiated a new shipper review covering the period February 1, 2007 through January 31, 2008 for frozen warmwater shrimp from Vietnam produced and exported by BIM Seafood Joint Stock Company (BIM Seafood). Importers of shrimp from Vietnam manufactured and/or exported by BIM Seafood must continue to post cash deposits of estimated antidumping duties on each entry at the current Vietnam-wide rate of 25.76 percent.
Preliminary results on these new shipper reviews are due in October.
