 USTR Modifies List of EU Products in Beef Hormone Dispute: U.S. Trade Representative Susan C. Schwab announced today that USTR is modifying the list of EU products subject to additional duties in connection with the World Trade Organization (WTO) dispute settlement rulings in the EU – Beef Hormones dispute.

 Final Rule Issued on 10+2: U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) released an interim final rule on the Importer Security Filing (10+2 rule). The rule, effective January 26, 2009, will require both importers and carriers to submit additional information pertaining to cargo to CBP before the cargo is brought in the U.S. by vessel.
