Commerce issued preliminary results in its administrative review of the antidumping duty order on individually quick frozen red raspberries from Chile during the period July 1, 2005 through June 30, 2006. Commerce preliminarily determined that sales were made below normal value during the period of review. The rates were set as follows:
Company -- Rate
Alimentos Naturales Vitafoods S.A. -- 3.19
Arlavan S.A. -- 0.19 (de minimus)
Fruticola Olmue S.A. -- 0.05 (de minimus)
Sociedad Agroindustrial Valle Frio Ltda./Agricola Framparque -- 0.0 (de minimus)
Valles Andinos S.A. -- 1.14
Vital Berry Marketing S.A. -- 0.12 (de minimus)
Commerce intends to revoke the antidumping duty order with respect to Fruticola Olmue and Vital Berry Marketing.
In all antidumping duty investigations, the preliminary determinations in administrative reviews have no effect on duty deposits. That’s not an issue in this instance because this antidumping duty order is being revoked. The final determination will only set the rates for product entered during the period of review.
