Decision to Revoke Pineapple Antidumping Duty Order
Effective Oct. 31, 2007

Wednesday, April 23, 2008

On March 7 Commerce issued the preliminary results of a changed circumstances review and a preliminary determination to revoke the antidumping duty order on canned pineapple from Thailand. Commerce has now issued its final results of the changed circumstances review which determined that changed circumstances exist to warrant revocation of the order.

Commerce is revoking the order, effective Oct. 31, 2007. Commerce will instruct Customs to liquidate without regard to antidumping duties and to refund any estimated antidumping duties collected on entries made on or after Oct. 31, 2007. Entries of subject merchandise prior to the effective date of revocation will continue to be subject to suspension of liquidation and antidumping duty deposits requirements.
